In addition to working in fictional and documentary film and television, Josh Dorsey has been part of a multi-disciplinary design team in Montreal and Boston that has invented LUME illuminating fabric. LUME debuted at the 2004 International Contemporary Furniture Fair as part of an exhibition co-sponsored by Metropolis Magazine. The two 18 X 5 feet panels of LUME fabric were the surprise hit of the show. LUME will be exhibited from June 21 -August 21 in "Life Symphony Part 4" at the Felissimo Design House in NYC (10 West 56 Street, between 5th and 6th Ave., Tel: 212-956-4438).
