Phil Rosenblum writes, "My wife, Pam, and I have a new baby, Rebecca Lily, born September 13, 1995. She enjoys both rice and barley cereal and is rolling over very well. On a professional note, I'm now in my second year as a Family Practice Resident at Bryn Mawr Hospital. I'll be finished in June '97, and we probably will be looking to move. So far, the top locations seem to be northern New Jersey, suburban Philadelphia, and Denver, Colorado.".

Mimi Ghez writes, "After a two year stint getting my Master's in Communications at the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, I have moved to San Francisco (where I still hold my breath and drive really fast when crossing the Bay Bridge, in case of earthquake). I'm now Associate Director of the Family Violence Prevention Fund, where I direct a national public education campaign on domestic violence called There's No Excuse for Domestic Violence. Eric Davis says hello from Phildelphia where he and his wife Carol have just finished their MBAs. He writes, "After two years away from the workforce, searching for the meaning of life, I report that I have not found it. When I'm not working, I often hang out with Kevin Volpp '89 who also lives in Philadelphia. Had a great Spring rowing season on the Wharton Crew with Seth Faler '90, David Boit '90, and Frank Klause '92. Best vaction recently was with Sam Shuffler '88 and his bride Sarah at their new home in New Orleans. Keith Kaplan is currently working for Price Waterhouse LLP in Los Angeles as a Consultant in the Entertainment, Media and Communications Group. He writes, "My group focuses on strategic management issues facing companies including major motion picture studios, television and cable broadcasters and information services. I live in Santa Monica and continue to swim competitively as a member of the Southern Cal Aquatics Masters team."
After four years in the Marine Corps and two years in Washington, DC, Kurt Wheeler is back at Harvard getting his Masters at the Ed School. He's also a Proctor in Hollis Hall and "loving it." Eva Baker recently received her Ph.D. from the Department of Medical Physics at the University of Wisconsin. She writes, "I defended my thesis on November 7th (the 100th anniversary of the x-ray!) entitled 'Feature Selection for Segmentation of Medical Images' and then promptly returned to medical school. After years of getting to work at 10:00 or whenever I wanted I once again have to be at the hospital early in the morning. It's been a major lifestyle change."
Married: Stephen M. Hearst '88 and Juliane C. Fitzsimmons '89 on April 8, 1995, in Evanston, Illinois. Gladly seeing Steve on his way toward responsibility were his father Jay Hearst '53 and his uncle Peter Hearst '56. Also in attendance were many friends and a few of Steve's several dozen college roommates, including Tim Urquart '88, Ron Corcillo '88, and Steve Bloch '89. Much of the toasting documented the groom's legendary disorderly nature. Come to question the bride's judgment were Rachel Pulido Oakley '89 and Jeremy Shapiro '89. The couple is now living happily in San Francisco. Julie works as an Associate with Booz Allen & Hamilton and Steve is an independent film maker.
Married: Christopher Bolton to Kija Kim on January 6, 1996 in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Chris writes, "We met five years ago while I was working in Osaka. Six months after that, her employer acquired the company that I was working for, and now the two of us have undergone our own merger." Helping Chris and Kija celebrate was a largely Lowellian Harvard contingent which included Kevin Buehler '87, Andrew Lovett '89, Lisa Lavoie '89 and her husband John Meyer '89, Jessica Mark Welch '89, Alisa Savetamai '89 and Juan deZengotita '89. Jonathan Bolton '90 was the Best Man. After the wedding the couple left for a nine-month "working honeymoon in Kyoto where Chris is doing dissertation research.
David Carney is finishing up his last year of an MBA at the Harvard Business School. He plans to live in the San Francisco Bay Area, so he has been travelling out to California a lot. He writes, "On my visits I have been making sure to stop in and see David Gillis '89 and Tom Shields '89."
