from UCLA, and am now working in Milpitas for Com21, Inc., a cable
modem equipment company. For all you net-surfers out there, ask your
cable companies for cable internet service-- imagine downstream data
in the 200Kbps to 30Mbps (depending on service plan), and an "always
up" connection! You'll never go back to AOL again....(Sorry about the
plug, but I'm enjoying my job and the company immensely). My husband,
Douglas (89), works for GTE Internetworking, and we live midway
between our offices, in Sunnyvale. We'd like to hear from friends in
the area. 408-733-7367 or brockett@com21.com.

Robert Bonnie writes that in early March, he, Brian Guthrie, Sean
Rockett, and George Zlupko oshrugged off our wives and, in Brian's
case, fiance, and met in the South Carolina woods for a weekend of
male bonding. We stalked wild game, ate and drank heartily, smoked
fine cigars, and told outlandish lies -- not too much different from
our Kirkland House days, come to think of it.
