Ming recently graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Ph.D in Jurisprudence and Social Policy. She spent 2010-2011 as a Visiting Scholar at George Washington Law School. She welcomes guest lecturers and visitors year-round, including but not limited to ski season.

Jay Chen (2000, COL) writes, "It was a pretty exciting year for me, from appearing on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, getting a commission in the Navy Reserves (trying to catch up to my old NROTC buddies), to getting elected President of the Board of Education in December.
I really enjoyed wearing a top hat and waving a cane around during the 10 year reunion and being part of the first (hugely successful) Harvard Asian American Alumni Summit as well. The most important accomplishment however, was getting engaged to Karen Chang (NYU '03) while vacationing in Bogota. I hope everyone is doing well and please drop a line if you ever visit the San Gabriel Valley!"
