Class of 2004 - 10th Reunion FAQ's
How do I sign up—and when?
Online Registration will open in early April. At that time, you will have the
option to register online for events and housing with a credit card. If you
require dorm accommodations, you must register for housing by 5:00 PM on
Friday, May 16. After May 16, housing registration will be closed and rooms
will be assigned for Reunion Weekend.
Can I choose which events to go to,
or do I need to attend everything?
You may pick and choose which events you’d like to attend. There is a discount,
though, if you buy a full package that grants you entry to all 10th Reunion
Will tickets be available at the
We will accept walk-in attendees on a space-available basis. To be sure you’ll
be able to attend, buy in advance!
Can only members of the Class of 2004 attend?
Guests are welcome, as are alumni friends of the Class of ’04 from other years.
Anyone with a alumni.harvard login can register for Reunion events. Guests who
are not affiliated with Harvard should be added to the registration form of the
’04 class member with whom they are attending.
I’m attending with another member of
the Class of 2004 and want our materials to be together. What should we do?
You can either register under the login of one member and indicate that the
guest is also an alum, or you can register separately and let the HAA know that
you would like them to link your information.
I want to come to the Reunion but
I’m not sure if I’ll be able to. If I buy tickets now will I be able to get a
refund if my plans change?
Refunds requested in writing (email is preferred) to firstname.lastname@example.org May 16 will
be granted. Following May 16, we won’t be able to refund cancelled orders.
When I arrive on campus, where do I check in for housing and the events?
Junior Reunion Headquarters will be located in the MAC Lobby, where you will
pick up your event tickets, nametags, and room keys for the weekend. A registration
desk will also be present at each event for ticket collection.
Where do I park?
Complimentary parking is available at the Harvard Business School Parking lot.
Parking passes will be emailed to all who register for Reunion before arriving
on campus. If you plan to drive, print out the pass and place it on your dash.
How much will it cost?
Events are priced individually or as a package. Pricing for this year's events
has not yet been set, but last year, the full package of events cost $250
before May 4 and $275 thereafter. Last year, individual events cost between $35
and $95 before May 4 and $40 and $105 after. All the events have open bar, lots
and lots of food, good music, etc. We have done our best to keep the ticket
price as low as possible. If we turn a profit, it'll go right back to the class
treasury. Junior Reunions are structured as break-even events. All registration
fees go to covering the cost of the Reunion.
What if I have a dietary
There will be vegetarian options at all of the 10th Reunion events. If you have
a further dietary restriction, please indicate this on the form when you
register and we will be able to provide alternative meals.
What do I wear?
Thursday and Friday tends to be the more casual of the evening events. However,
people do still “dress to impress” at Reunion. To the Saturday Night event
people wear cocktail attire, as it’s a more elegant gathering. All daytime
events are casual. Planning to wear high heels? Just know that you will be
walking around the brick sidewalks of Cambridge and on grass at many of the
events. Please remember that the end of May in Cambridge can be chilly and/or
rainy—pack accordingly. Don't leave home without your raingear and a jacket!
What do I need to know about on-campus housing?
The 10th Reunion will be housed in the River Houses and undergraduate dorms.
When registering you will have the chance to indicate which friends you would
like to room near/with. Sheets, pillow, a blanket, towel and soap are included
in your registration and your beds will be made up for you upon arrival. Last
year, the cost for housing was $90 per bed, per night, and went down to $165
for two nights and $215 for three nights to reflect the fact that you will not
need new sheets, pillows, etc.
house will the 10th Reunion be housed in?
We don’t know yet which house the 10th Reunion will call home, but it will
likely be several of the River Houses.
prices per person? Per room? Per bed?
Prices are per bed, per night. If two people would like to share a bed, the
cost is per bed. Keep in mind these are the same beds we stayed in as
undergrads, and they might feel much smaller now! If you register for one bed,
you will receive one swipe card to get into the Houses, one key to get into
your dorm room, bedding and linens for one person. If you register for two
beds, you will receive two swipes, two keys, two sets of linens, and so on.
I guaranteed housing? HSA Additional Services:
If you register prior to the housing deadline of 5:00 PM on May 16, you will be
guaranteed a bed!
If you are staying in Dorm Housing, please bear
in mind that while the rooms are quaint and historic, they also have relatively
modest conveniences. Harvard Student Agencies provides Reunion guests with
additional services, which you may arrange directly with them at http://reunions.hsa.net
or by calling 617-496-3412.
